A stay at the Red Lion Hotel in downtown Denver will not disappoint you. The Red Lion Hotel is conveniently located between the Denver International Airport and Downtown Denver. This makes this a great "home base" for a visit to the Mile High City. You will be a short walk from the Quebec Square Retail Center and just a short drive from many new shops as well as the Harkins Theater. This is a great location if you are looking for convenience. The Red Lion Hotel offers complimentary transportation to and from the airport, no need to rent a car unless you are venturing further away. Walking or a short taxi ride was sufficient for us.

As soon as you walk through the door into the main lobby you feel relaxation settling in! The lobby is decorated in warm colors and beautiful wood; the comfortable seating and a warm fireplace welcome you right in. Under your feet are beautiful granite floors. There is front desk assistance 24 hours a day and the attendants were very friendly, offering suggestions for our site seeing the following day.

There are 298 rooms; all newly done with pillow-top beds, beautiful furniture and a great 27" flat screen TV. All of the rooms have high-speed wireless Internet access.

There is a fitness center available as well as a swimming pool.

Business travelers will find a fully equipped business center. There is a very large convention center that contains a huge ballroom with grand ceilings 22' high. I also noticed a large 50" flat screen TV in the executive boardroom.

There is a restaurant on property, The Amberstone. It is a Bar & Grill and the atmosphere here was very relaxed. We ate breakfast here, nice, eggs and bacon. The food was served without a long wait and the price was decent. The lounge area is very nice for relaxing in, however, there are two large panel televisions here that at times were a little on the loud side. Fun if you are here to see a game, not if you want a quiet place to talk. Very pleasant though. The servers here were very attentive.

The Amberstone Bar is a great lounge. Is decorated with great leather chairs and very comfortable sofas. It is decorated beautifully and you are very comfy just sitting back, relaxing with a drink.

There is valet and laundry service available on request for that last minute fresh up of your suit for the very important meeting you have scheduled.

Pets are allowed, you may want to call ahead for restrictions or information.

Complimentary parking is provided for guests of the Red Lion Hotel in Denver, Colorado.

Room pricing and availability varies, online pricing and availability is here on the Red Lion Hotel Denver website:
