Recently, I purchased a new pair of reading glasses and noticed the drop off receptacle located near the entrance of the Pearle Vision store. I thought about the few pairs of eyeglasses I have at home in a drawer which will never be worn by me again. So, when I return to Pearle Vision to get my new glasses I will deposit my old eyeglasses in the recycle receptacle knowing that my eyeglasses will find new life with someone I may never meet.
Next time you purchase your prescription glasses, don't discard your old eyeglasses. Remember to bring your old eyeglasses to Pearle Vision and drop them in the recycle receptacle. Someone, somewhere will be grateful for the gift of sight that your glasses will provide. For more detailed information, visit the Pearle Vision website at www.pearlvision.com. Share the gift of life with those who might never see clearly without your donation.
