Tried of playing the good guy, Clark leaves Smallville for the big city and shows his bad boy side. Meanwhile, Lex is stuck on a desert island where he is forced to face his own inner demons. While missing in action, Lionel holds a funeral for his son, who he assumes to be dead. In this episode, Jonathon Kent is still alive, as he pays a high-price to bring his son back to the good side.

Oliver Queen brings super-powered allies together, as Bart Allen, Victor Stone, and Arthur Curry join forces with the super-heroes. Lex begins work on a new project labeled Level 33.1.

Clark's nightmares drive him to the cave where he has to confront his real father Jor-El. He warns Clark that another meteor shower will rain upon Earth, unless he unites three crystals. Lana commits a murder and Lex helps her. But not for long...soon Lex turns against her in order to obtain the kryptonian stone that she holds. Disaster is held at bay, as Chloe and Lois search for Lana, while Clark tries to put the stones together.

Zod (Season 6, Episode 1) Aired: 9/28/2006
Clark finds himself in the Phantom Zone where he must face criminals his father put there. He manages to find an ally in an unlikely source. Zod uses Lex's body to make a plan to chance Earth into a brand-new Krypton. Zod uses Lana to produce a Luthor heir.

Phantom (Season 6, Episode 22) Aired: 5/17/2007
Chloe's power is discovered by others, Clark learns the reason why Lana married Lex, and then sets out to take Lionel out. Lex takes DNA from the phantom in hopes of powering up his soldiers. Lois gets fatally injured while searching for Lex's lab.

Crusade (Season 4, Episode 1) Aired: 9/22/2004
Clark searches for a Kryptonian crystal that Lex finds in Egypt. Lois Lane arrives for the first time in Smallville, as Chloe's cousin. Lana comes back from Paris with a new boyfriend, while Clark returns to Smallville as Kal-El. Lionel serves time in prison and Jonathon Kent remains in a coma.

Clark is discovered injured by a dagger made of blue kryptonite. Chloe continues her search for Oliver, and Tess gets resurrected by Luther Corp. Jonathon returns with a message for Clark.

A special flower is discovered at a fertilizer plant giving Jonathon, Pete, and Lana unusual reactions.

Lionel uses a kryptonite crystal to attempt to switch bodies with his son Lex, but instead Clark enters his body. This gives Lionel Luthor new super-powers and the power to turn people against Clark. Clark tried to convince his parents that in fact their son.

X-Ray (Season 1, Episode 4) Aired: 11/6/2001
Vision problems cause Clark problems as he discovers he has x-ray vision. A shape-shifter enters Smallville, and tries to create mayhem and take over powers.
