An Inside Look at America's Next Top Model-Cycle 15 Contestants
Meet the Cast of America's Next Top Model - 10 Ladies Remain
Episode 4: Underwater challenge
On episode 4, 11 girls were challenged to pose underwater in a beauty shot.
Ann won the challenge and Rhianna and Liz both were named bottom two. At the end, Rhianna Atwood was sent packing. See the underwater photos and decide for yourself if the right person went home.
10 Models Left in Competition:
As the challenge winner Ann was safe from elimination. The other girls photos were called in the following order Kacey, Esther, Chris, Kendal, Lexie, Kayla, Jane, Chelsey, and Liz.
Lets take a closer look at each girl's hometown, height, occupation, and what I see that makes them stand out in the competition. Plus, see who they admit to be their favorite designer and more.
Inside look at the 10 girls still in the competition:
Ann Ward - Her hometown is listed as Dallas, Texas. The 19 year old is the tallest of the girls at 6'2". As a model, this is a true advantage. She admits on the show that she was bullied a lot because of her height. She has a very quirky look that is interesting to see, especially during her photo shoots. Because she is very glamorous when she models, surprisingly so. She is currently a student and her favorite designer is Betsey Johnson.
Kacey Leggett- Her hometown is Palmdale, California. She is perhaps the least likable on the show (well the only one causing repeated drama), due to her almost constant complaints and drama stirring. Which makes her look more interesting than her personality. The 20-year-old lists her occupation as dance teacher and her favorite designer is Rocco Barocco.
Esther Petrack - She lists her hometown as Boston, Massachusetts. Has a very original look and her personality seems quirkier than the others. This could help her in the competition, if she remains focused. The 18-year-old student is 5'9". Her favorite designers are Oscar de la Renta, Missoni, and Marc Jacobs.
Chris White - She calls her hometown Arlington, Texas. She seems to really have a fierce eye for modeling, and she could be real competition to the other models. Chris is 20 years old. Her sister (Terra) was already sent home, but if she can get over that - she could really be fierce competition. She seemed much more confident before her sister was sent home. Oddly enough, the official ANTM site does not provide any additional information on her, unlike the other models. Could this mean that she is sent home before the end? Maybe not, because even those who have already been sent home still have their interview posted...I hope to see her make it to the end of the competition.
Kendal Brown - Her hometown is Northport, Alabama. She seems serious about being a model, and has the body for it. But is she too serious, and too focused? Guess we'll have to wait and see. The 23 year old is 5'11" and currently unemployed. Her favorite designer is Versace.
Lexie Tomcheck - Her hometown is located in Geneva, Illinois. Most of the girls are dark-headed, so she stands out with platinum hair and piercing blue eyes. The 18 year old is 6' and currently unemployed. Her favorite designer is Marc Jacobs.
Kayla Ferell - Hometown is Rockford, Illinois. She has the quintessential pretty girl look, with golden blond hair, and blue eyes. Not a bad thing, except maybe in modeling. Tyra has said time and time again that it takes more than beauty to be a model. But I think she has more to give than only beauty. The 19-year-old is 5'9" and lists her employment as waitress. Her favorite designer is Stella McCartney.
Jane Randall - Her hometown is Baltimore, Maryland. She has stand out looks. Brown hair and blue eyes, but without being just pageant pretty. She has classic good looks with a great angled face that should serve her well in modeling. The 19-year-old student says her favorite designer is Ralph Lauren. She could easily model Ralph Lauren clothing, in my opinion. Good choice for her!
Chelsey Hersley - Hometown is Boise, Idaho. She has a strong angled face, but doesn't stand out, so far. She hasn't revealed much about herself, so she still has room to grow, stand out, and improve. The 22 year old is employed as a waitress and her favorite designer is Karl Lagerfield.
Liz Williams - Her hometown is Arlington, Texas. I see her advantage due to her strong and memorable face and unique look. She is one of the few girls (in my opinion) that can easily pull off short hair, and still look good. The 21-year-old is 5'10" and is employed as a Shoe Sales Rep. She lists her favorite designer as Kimora Lee Simmons.
I don't have any true favorites yet, but I do think that Ann has the most potential. She is a bit awkward in person, but in her photos she really pulls out all the stops. She is sure to be fierce competition. Especially as she gains her confidence and learns more about modeling from the judges. She just needs to be more comfortable in her skin, especially in front of the judges.
Jane, Chris, and Esther also seem like they could make it as a model. Hopefully we will see Chris gain her confidence back and excel in the competition. I'd love to see her make it to the end of the competition, and maybe win the top model crown.
