This article will tell you how to get to the US Embassy in Seoul, South Korea. Often times while living in South Korea you will need to get yourself to the US Embassy in Seoul. The US Embassy offers many services including adding pages to your passport, applying for a replacement passport, report of birth, notary services and marriage services. I went to the US embassy in Seoul, South Korea to obtain additional pages for my passport. This particular service was a free same day service and the US embassy in Seoul, South Korea managed to do this while I waited in less than 1.5 hours. Additionally, I might add there was no line for obtaining the extra passport pages.

In order to get to the US embassy in Seoul, South Korea by subway you will want to take: the Purple Line (Line 5) Gwanghwamun Station, Exit 2; the Red Line (Line 1), Jonggak Station; or the Orange Line (Line 6) Kyungbokgung Station, Exit 6.

Green bus numbers: 09, 11, 0212, 1020, 1711, 7016, 7018, 7022 or 8000. Blue bus numbers: 103, 150, 223, 260, 270, 273, 300, 370, 401, 402, 406, 408, 470, 471, 606, 607, 704, 710 or 720. Orange / red bus numbers: 1005-1, 1500, 9602, 9708 or 9710.

What landmarks can I look for when I go to the US Embassy in Seoul? The embassy is directly across the street from the Sejong Cultural Center (see picture 1) and next to the KT building (see picture 2). Just look for the American flag (see picture 3) at the front of the building and navigate yourself there to the front gate.
