An Interview with Deborah R., Founder & Director of Ghost Seekers
Second in My Series About Paranormal People- Learn More About This Ghost Hunting Group Out of Oregon
Lisa: Deborah, what prompted you to start Ghost Seekers in 2006?
Deborah: I started Ghost Seekers to seek the truth about paranormal activity. I have had many paranormal experience before I started this group.
Lisa: How many active members are in your group?
Deborah: Seven
Lisa: What are your main goals for Ghost Seekers?
Deborah: To try to help other's with their paranormal problems, as well as seeking the truth and gathering evidence about it.
Lisa: You wrote a story on the Ghost Seekers website that your brother appeared to you in apparition form, before your family had been notified of his death. How did this change how you personally viewed life after death before this incident occurred?
Deborah: I never really thought about the paranormal, or life after death. Never was afraid of anything.
Lisa: There is quite a bit of fancy equipment nowadays available for investigators, but do you think it's necessary to have in order to conduct investigations?
Deborah: Yes, otherwise some would assume that it is a made-up story.
Lisa: What do you feel the greatest weakness is in the paranormal community?
Deborah: Attaining real hard evidence.
Lisa: Have you ever turned down anyone who has contacted you for an investigation?
Deborah: No, we would never turn anyone that needed help away.
Lisa: Do you specialize in one particular area of research?
Deborah: No, but we also research UFO'S and Bigfoot
Lisa: How do you feel about working with other paranormal groups, such as joint investigations?
Deborah: That would be great, more than willing
Lisa: In your opinion, what is the greatest strength of your group?
Deborah:We are go-getter's. We may research one particular place more than once to try to get proof of what the client has stated.
