An Ode to My Laptop!

Poetry Challenge of the Day!

John Smither
Oh laptop, my laptop

Now I have you all to myself

You are all mine, you I will not swap

I knew from the moment I noticed you upon the shelf

Oh laptop, my laptop

As my fingers caressed your keys

I wanted you from that first moment in that shop

You said to me, take me home, yes please

Oh laptop, my laptop

It was wrong of me I know

I wanted you upon my desktop

But I just didn't have the dough

Oh laptop, my laptop

I rushed off to get some finance

The bank said no, we were for the chop

Would we become a victim of circumstance?

Oh laptop, my laptop

One last try for me to get credit

Am I now for the chop

Should I continue? Just press edit
