I walk in abject fear;
Afraid of what will become
Of those not deemed worthy
In the new order.
I'm no longer wanted.
I am frail, weak, and too old.
I've outlived my usefulness
For the youth of today.
I won't give up my faith
In my God or my country.
That makes me the enemy
And I must be destroyed.
Change sounds so innocent
Until you know what it means.
Then it takes on new meaning
That strikes terror inside.
Is that the real intent?
To deceive those who won't see
Until it is far too late
And all we know is gone.
I pray that I am wrong
But the panic continues;
Making me all the more sure
This time, I might be right.

Truly beautiful!
I found out that one of my new meds could be the culprit so we're trying something new. I figure the election being over tomorrow will help a lot too, no matter the outcome.
Many blessing to you my friend!!!
