Ance Product Review: Clean and Clear's Advantage Oil-free Acne Moisturizer

S
With all the acne products on the market, it can become a hassle to simply grab one and go. What products are worth your money and what products are a complete waste? In today's economy, spending money on worthless items is not an option. That's what I'm here for! I do all the buying, reviewing, and all you need to do is read and decide.

Right now we are going to take a peek at Clean and Clear's Advantage - Oil free acne moisturizer. During this review we are going to look at the packaging, texture, and results.

NOTE: I have personally tested this product.

Packaging: ***** (5 stars of 5)

Advantage comes in a grey/silver bottle with a purple pump cap; 4 FL ounces. I was impressed the Clean and Clear packed this bottle full of lotion and did not skimp out. I really cannot stand it when companies only fill the bottle ¾ the way or even ½ way with product. The purple pump top locks and unlocks so you do not get product everywhere when you're not using the product. Very portable packing that can be carried around a purse, small or large.

Texture: ***** (5 stars of 5)

I must admit - I was a bit iffy with the texture at first. When I first touched Advantage, it felt a little on the greasy side. After rubbing the moisturizer between my fingers for a couple seconds, I found that Advantage sets into the skin nicely and there is no longer a greasy feel. Advantage does not leave a shiny appearance to your skin, so you don't have to worry about that. This moisturizer is very light weight and not heavy feeling whatsoever.

Results: **** (4 stars of 5)

I understand that no product is perfect, but I have always been a tad picky when it comes to moisturizers. I bought Advantage because I was tired of using moisturizers that made my face break out. I would always get a couple zits on my forehead and chin, and it was frustrating me! After buying Advantage and using it as a moisturizer for a couple weeks - I noticed I did not break out as much. I still broke out, but my breakout average was dropped compared to my other moisturizing experiences. If you are looking for a moisturizer that is going to prevent and cure acne - I do not recommend this product, especially if you have severe acne. Some people seem to think this product cures acne because the front of the bottle says "Helps treat and prevent acne", but curing is not the case. Make sure you understand this is not an acne cure before you buy. My face was very soft after using this product.

All-in-all, this product received a rating 4.7 stars of 5 (read on to find out why this product received this rating): the bad - still causes you to break out a little; the good - light texture, no oily residue, no shininess, lots of product, portable, silky smooth results.
