The latter movie, which takes a look in a ground-breaking way at three lesbian lives, is part of Q Cinema's Fall Film Series in Fort Worth, Texas. The monthly project is brought to you through generous support of the organization's sponsors, Rainbow Lounge, the North Texas Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgender (LGBT) Chamber of Commerce, Dallas Voice, Ameriprise, Wolfe Releasing, and Four Day Weekend Theatre.
The movie is 70 minutes long and screens at 8 p.m. Sept. 23 at the above referenced playhouse located at 312 Houston Street downtown. Tickets are $8 and are available at qcinema.org or at the venue one hour before show time.
The story unfolds as a classic Sapphic romantic comedy and "flips it on its ear" with stylistic storytelling, quick wit, and perfect casting, according to Todd Camp, artistic director of Q Cinema, Fort Worth's Gay & Lesbian International Film Festival.
"Off and running, Lola dodges a meter maid, an unstable woman with a big dog, and her own ex," says Camp. "Inspired by the German classic Run, Lola, Run, this brilliant story is told in three different scenarios where sexy, commitment-phobic photographer Lola bounces around like a pinball through San Francisco transporting important designs to her drop-dead gorgeous lover Casey who is a marketing executive on the verge of landing a big advertising campaign through her seductive ex-girlfriend Danielle."
Camp stated that directors Megan Siler and Ellen Seidler "have brilliantly crafted an engrossing feature complete with beautiful cinematography, animation, still photography, and high energy."
"Don't be late or you'll miss one hell of a ride," he wrote.
After the sexy, lesbian romp/film, there will be an after-party at Rainbow Lounge at 651 S. Jennings Street, also in Fort Worth.

The mission of Q Cinema is to provide a voice for gays, lesbians, bisexual, and transgendered persons by presenting films, videos, and live programs that represent the diversity of the community and educate, enlighten, and entertain.
The organization celebrates ten years this year.
In unrelated community news, the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force applauded the unanimous passage of the domestic partnership ordinance in Miami Beach and North Miami, FL which gives the same health care and insurance benefits for same-sex and opposite-sex domestic partners as married couples.
On July 8 the Task Force submitted testimony to the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, Subcommittee on Federal Workforce, Postal Service, and the District of Columbia which on that day held a hearing on the Domestic Partnership Benefits and Obligations Act of 2009.
"Already a majority of Fortune 500 companies offer their employees domestic partner benefits," stated Rea Carey, executive director of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force Action Fund in a press release. "Polls conducted within the last year demonstrate that a majority of Americans believe that same-sex partners should receive federal benefits, and that fully 73 percent of the country believe that same-sex partners should be eligible for health insurance."
