Apple Cider Vinegar has been used for centuries and there are literally hundreds of uses for it. It has been used for household cleaning, in preparing food, children's projects and the best of all for your health. Below I have compiled a list of ways you can save money in the home and keep your family healthy using apple cider vinegar.

Health

No More Dandruff ~ Rinse your hair with two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar after you shampoo each morning, all your dandruff will be gone in days!

Sore Throat ~ Gargle with one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar mixed with an eight ounce glass of water. Do this three times a day and your sore throat will be a thing of the past!

Chest Congestion ~ Add 3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to a pot of boiling water, then inhale the steam for several minutes.

Morning Sickness/Nausea ~ Mix two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar and one teaspoon of honey in an eight ounce glass of water and drink slowly.

Be Bug Bite Free ~ In a standard spray bottle, mix equal parts apple cider vinegar, dish liquid and water and spray on as needed.

Children's Project

Color Easter Eggs ~ Mix one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with each cup of water then add food coloring as directed on the package. The vinegar helps prevent your pretty egg colors from fading and ensures even dyeing of the eggs.

Household

Get Rid of stinky smells in the kitchen by pouring one cop of apple cider vinegar in a pot and let it simmer. Within minutes your kitchen will smell sweet and clean!

Make your wilted vegetables fresh again by soaking them in a bowl of water with a half of a cup of apple cider vinegar added.

Add a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to your boiling eggs to prevent the whites from coming out of slightly cracked eggs!

Clean leather with a mix of one part apple cider vinegar and one part linseed oil.

Let that gold jewelry shine again by submerging it in apple cider vinegar for fifteen minutes, then dry with a cloth.

Polish your wood furniture with a one to one ratio of apple cider vinegar and olive oil.

Keep your flowers fresh by adding two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and two tablespoons of sugar to a vase full of water.

Deodorize your toilet by adding one cup of apple cider vinegar and allow it to sit for a half an hour.

Clean and deodorize your refrigerator by using a spray mixture of one part apple cider vinegar and one part water instead of antibacterial spray. The vinegar will kill all of the bacteria!
