So where exactly should you get your tattoo of angel wings? Although the back is the most obvious choice, it's far from the only one, especially if you want to put something inbetween the wings, like a heart. A little pair of angel wings on the nape of your neck or on your inner thigh will drive a man wild, I guarantee it. However, if you do want to go with the most "practical" location, the back, there's still a lot of decisions to be made.

First of all, you need to decide on size. You don't necessarily have to get wings the size of your entire back, or even half the size of your back, like you might see on angels on TV. A pair of wings that appeared in approximately the middle of your back and was about 1/3 of the size of your back would be perfect if you want something of a "realistic" size without overdoing it.

If you want a mid-sized tattoo, the upper or central back is probably the best place for the wings, whereas a smaller-sized pair of wings would look great at the small of your back. Small ones can go just about anywhere, though they're particularly popular right now at the very top or bottom of women's backs.

Another choice you get to make about your wings is the color or colors you want them to be-they can be any color you want, though the most popular choices are obviously white and gold. Pink is also a great color for wings, and would probably look better than white on someone with a fair complexion in the winter. Also, the wings can be one color, and have an outside border that is a different color-for instance, a pair of white wings with a gold border.
