Angelina to Become a Mom Again Within a Few Weeks (But What About Brad?)

The countdown is on! Angelina Jolie is about to become a mom again for the fourth time. And the new arrival could be in her arms within a few weeks - if not sooner!

Angelina is adopting a four year old boy from Vietnam and according to confirmed reports, the adoption will be final within a few weeks.

When the news about Angelina adopting another child hit the media, officials spoke out saying that no special treatment would be given to Angelina to help speed up the process.

But it now looks like a different story.

According to Vu Duc Long, the director of the Ministry of Justice's International Adoption Department in Vietnam, Angelina Jolie's application has been moved up because she came to the country and was able to meet her soon-to-be son on a previous visit. Her visit was in November 2006.

Vu Duc Long also has stated that the adoption officials will be completing the paperwork by the end of this month (March) and once the paperwork is done, Angelina Jolie will be able to pick up her son at anytime.

It is said that the boy Angelina Jolie is adopting is really into the game of soccer and at times, is a really shy boy.

Maddox, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's adopted son, will enjoy having another boy around - especially a boy that will share his Asian background.

The child will also join two sisters: Zahara Marley (2 years old) and Shiloh Nouvel (10 months old).

The young boy that is being adopted by Angelina Jolie was left at the hospital where he was born. He was then transferred to the orphanage where he currently resides at.

It has only been a few weeks since the announcement regarding the adoption was made and already she is a few weeks away from bringing home her son. This just shows exactly what having 'celebrity status' can do - regardless of false statements saying that no special treatment would be made.

But hold up! What about Brad Pitt, the boyfriend of Angelina Jolie? Although he adopted Maddox and Zahara, there has not been any mention of him adopting this child. It would seem like that both Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt would do a joint adoption, but according to reports - it is just Angelina Jolie handling the adoption. Sounds like what happened during the Angelina Jolie / Billy Bob Thorton relationship.

Just to remind you, Angelina Jolie was married to Billy Bob Thorton at the time of the adoption of Maddox. Angelina was the only one that filed the adoption papers on him, and as soon as he was officially a part of her family, Angelina and Billy Bob split.

We will just have to see what unfolds next.
