Angelina Jolie (born Angelina Jolie Voight on June 4, 1975) is an American actress who has won an Academy Award, 2 Screen Actor Guild Awards and 3 Golden Globe Awards. Her screen debut came as a child when she starred alongside her father, Jon Voight, in the film Lookin' To Get Out (1982). A decade later she appeared in the low budget production Cyborg 2 but her break out role didn't happen until 1995 in the movie Hackers. From there she has gone on to star in movies like George Wallace (1997), Gia (1998), Girl Interrupted (1999) and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001).

Angelina Jolie's first Academy Award was for Best Supporting Actress in the movie Girl Interrupted. Since then she has established herself as one of the best known, highest paid actresses in Hollywood. Her most successful roles were in the movies Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005) and Kung Fu Panda (2008).

Angelina Jolie has gone through 2 divorces, having been married to Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton. Currently she is living with Brad Pitt. This relationship has drawn worldwide attention to the both of them. Nevertheless, they have gone on to adopt 3 children together: Maddox, Pax and Zahara. The couple also has 3 biological children as well: Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne.

There are a lot of people throughout the world who consider Angelina Jolie to be one of the world's most attractive people. She was also given the title of "world's most beautiful woman." Titles like these have attracted a lot of attention from the media for her. This hasn't stopped her from promoting the various humanitarian causes that she is involved with whenever she is not debuting on the big screen or spending time with her family. In fact, Angelina Jolie is actually very well known for the work that she has done with refugees as a Goodwill Ambassador for the UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner For Refugees).

What she will go on to do next is anyone's imagination. There is definitely a bright future ahead of Angelina Jolie. It is not surprising that a lot of people have their eye on her.
