Angelina Jolie Adopts Vietnamese Boy

Angelina Jolie shows no sign of stopping. This Thursday, Tomb Raider star, humanitarian, and "Mrs. Smith", Jolie adopted her fourth child in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. She named her new three-year-old son Pax Thien Jolie; Pax which is Latin for peace and Thien meaning sky in Vietnamese. Together his name is intended to mean "peaceful sky".

She picked him up and greeted him with a kiss when she arrived to pick him up Thursday from the orphanage. Pax was terrified and Jolie later explained that that is normal as most small children would be scared in such a situation.

The director of the orphanage told the press that that morning he woke up and excitedly got dressed in anticipation to "go play outside". The child was not told that he would be adopted that day. At first he was shy and even burst into tears, but with time became accustomed to Jolie and as they left the orphanage everybody applauded. The paparazzi of course struck at the scene and the boy was taken to the car with his face shielded from the persistent photographers.

Her five-year-old Cambodian son went with her to the orphanage to pick up his new brother; Brad Pitt did not accompany Jolie to Vietnam due to work in Los Angeles. Jolie signed the adoption forms as a single mother because of a Vietnamese law that prohibits unmarried couples to co-adoption.

The mother and son soon arrived at the Department of Justice where a ceremony took place and Jolie officially was granted possession of Pax. The ceremony took place for two hours and afterwards, paparazzi followed the car to their hotel in hope of a glimpse of Jolie's second son.

Jolie's adviser received a call from her later complaining that the paparazzi had been harassing the vehicle and knocking viciously on the windows and throwing objects at the car. She fears for her son's safety and wishes for some restraints of what the paparazzi can do.

Angelina Jolie have three children plus newly acquired Pax Thien Jolie from Vietnam. Jolie adopted Cambodian Maddox Jolie-Pitt, Ethiopian Zahara Jolie-Pitt, and she and Brad Pitt had Shiloh Jolie-Pitt together last year in Namibia.

The international Jolie-Pitt family seems to be growing exponentially as the world contemplates will she continue adopting and which country she will adopt from next. Jolie thad previously told the press that she wanted a family "from all over the world". She is doing a good job so far.
