Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt Appear for Salt Premiere: The Stars, the Movie and More

On Monday July 19th, the premiere of Salt, Angelina Jolie's newest spy thriller, took place in Los Angeles. Both Jolie and partner Brad Pitt were in attendance for the premiere. According to People.com, many stars came out for the premiere of Salt and the after party held at Hollywood & Highlands Grand Ballroom.

The Stars
Some of the stars seen at the Salt premiere include Leiv Schreiber and partner, Naomi Watts, Jon Voight (Angelina Jolie's father) and Quinton Aaron, the young actor who starred in The Blind Side with Sandra Bullock.

Jolie's father, Voight, was just one of the guests of honor at Pitt and Jolie's table during the after party. It was reported by People.com that he was seen talking amenably with Pitt and that he even shared a hug with his daughter before Pitt and Jolie called it at night at 11pm.

About the Movie Salt
Salt, the newest spy thriller, to hit theaters is based on figuring out "Who is Salt?". A CIA agent Evelyn Salt (Angelina Jolie) is accused of being a Russian spy. When accused she uses all of her training as a CIA operative to elude capture and prove her innocence. However, all of her efforts to prove herself innocent result in a strong suspicion of her motives leaving behind the question "Who is Salt?".

Did the Premiere Live Up to Expectation?
Salt is the most widely anticipated Jolie action-thriller since Jolie's last action packed movie, 2008's Wanted. Los Angeles came out in masses to get a peak at the star studded premiere and to see if Salt lived up to the expectations that came from the trailers. According to reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, Salt is receiving fairly good reviews some claiming that Salt has style, is red hot and one reviewer claimed "Salt is a better Bond movie than recent Bond movies". All in all, it seems that Salt is living up to the expectations set up by the trailers.
