Anyone who hangs out with celebrity hunk Brad Pitt is bound to capture attention. Brad and Angelina are one of Hollywood's most handsome couples. The older Brad Pitt gets, the better looking he becomes. He also seems to have matured in other ways since living with Angelina. The two have been together since 2005.

Many fans find Angelina's variety of tattoos intriguing; to others they are an enigma. The letter "H" tattooed on the inside of her left wrist is said to stand for her brother, James Havens. However, Angelina got the tattoo when she was dating Timothy Hutton. She used to say the "H" stood for both men. It was only after her break-up with Timothy Hutton that she began to refer to the "H" in terms of her brother.

"A prayer for the wild at heart, kept in cages," a quote from Tennessee Williams is tattooed on her left forearm.

"Quod me nutrit me destruit" is tattooed across her stomach. The Latin phrase means, "What nourishes me also destroys me."

Other tattoos include the eclectic variety of a dragon, a large black cross, Native American symbols, and the Japanese sign for death.

As eclectic and mysterious as her choice of tattoos, so are Angelina Jolie's interests. She collects knives, and has a keen interest in mortuary science. According to angelinafans.net, Angelina's childhood ambition was to become a funeral director.

In what seemed to some to be a bizarre move, she married second husband Johnny Lee Miller wearing black leather pants and a white tee. She painted her husband's name in her own blood across the back of her t-shirt.

Angelina's background demonstrates somewhat macabre interests. However, true to her multi-dimensional personality Angelina Jolie has other interests, as well. Angelina Jolie is the goodwill ambassador for the UN Refugee Agency. The purpose of the agency, as outlined by the UN, is to look out for the well-being and care of refugees worldwide.

Angelina approached the U.N. and asked how she could help. Consequently, she doesn't consider her role as that of a spokesperson or figurehead. She and partner, Brad Pitt, spend time traveling and addressing refugee issues. Angelina has visited over twenty countries to see the plight of refugees and plead their case to the nations of the world. She has taken the initiative to become an advocate of refugee rights meeting with leaders of many countries. She has also taken an active role in the education of refugees.

Her personal adoption of two refugee children is a testimony to Angelina Jolie's commitment to creating a better life for refugees.

Angelina Jolie's Career

If it weren't for her celebrity, Angelina Jolie wouldn't be able to accomplish ambitious humanitarian efforts. Angelina began as a model who soon made her way to the large and small screen. Her beauty and on-screen delivery gained her quick fame. She has been named sexiest woman and most beautiful woman by a number of organizations and magazines.

Angelina has an extensive list of credits. One of her most memorable was her role in Laura Croft Tomb Raider, a big screen adaptation of the hit video game. She also starred with Brad Pitt in Mr. and Mrs. Smith. She is regularly seen on television and in movies.
