When you don't have facts!
How dare you scold me
And then turn your backs.
I did what I could,
What I knew I should do,
But it wasn't enough,
For any of you.
I have offered my help
Many times in the past.
I've checked on you,
When my chores were vast.
Now I am the one
Needing comforting words,
But all I get are
Unspoken reprimand words.
Not a "missed you today"
Or "can I help you" I hear
Only unspoken thoughts
That pierce like a spear.
I think it is time
For me to move on
For those I thought friends,
Turned out to be foes.

Post a CommentYes, you find out who you're "real" friends are in times of trouble. It's unfortunate, but true, I liked your poem.
I am so sorry that somene treated you so badly. You deserve to be treated as a beloved and cherished child of God.
With Love,
