Animal Crackers

We were visiting a friend one day and the lady was nice enough to give my children animal crackers. The boys being two and 4 years old at the time enjoyed them as well. As we were getting ready to leave, I assume the boys had handfuls of cookies so the woman must have put the cookies for the youngest one in his pocket in his bib overalls. That was perfect for him. He would be able to reach them easily even when sitting in his car seat and maybe the drive home would be fairly quiet. When we finally got home, I realized it was a nice ride home and immediately turned into super mom doing everything that needed to be done.

A few days later, I pulled the overalls out of the dryer. I was greeted with a bib pocket that seemed to be glues shut. My first reaction was "what in the world?" As I pulled the pocket open, again I got another surprise. There were those animal crackers still waiting to be eaten. Of course after being washed, dried and who knows what else before they made it to the laundry, those cookies were in no shape to be eaten.

Note to anyone without children: when you put something in a child's pocket or give them something, make sure the parents are aware.
