Animal Planet Remote Control Snake - Product Review

Lovemyviews
My son has a thing for snakes, don't ask me why he just does. I haven't been a fan of remote control animals because they really don't do much. They aren't entertaining and they are just a waste of money. I was at Wal-Mart and seen the Animal Planet Remote Control Snake. I figured why not get it since were there to find him a remote control toy. I knew deep in my heart that this was going to be a waste of money but I got it anyway. I paid $25 for the Animal Planet Remote Control Snake and I'm still trying to take it back to the store.

What I didn't like about the Animal Planet Remote Control Snake

The only thing that I can say I liked about the Fisher-Price kid tough digital camera-pink
Is the fact that controlling it was simple. I liked the simplicity of the remote control. And Since my son is only 5, I thought it was perfect. Of course there can't be too much to the remote control considering the fact that the is controlling a snake! Snakes can't do much of anything and this is where the problem lies.

I found the Animal Planet Remote Control Snake easy to program and ready to use in a matter of a few minutes. It took me no time to get it going for my son but it took about 15 minutes for my son to get burned out on it so in a nutshell, it was boring. After scaring me with it a couple of times, the desire to play with it was gone and he threw it in his toy bin.

The Animal Planet Remote Control Snake was made terribly as well. I think that the material could have been better chosen and the design of it could have been a lot better as well.

Another thing I didn't like about the Animal Planet Remote Control Snake is that the battery life is horrible. I think I've spent more than 50 on batteries in a two week time span. That to me is ridiculous. I might as well buy my son a "real" snake if you ask me.

Was there anything I did like about the Animal Planet Remote Control Snake?

Honestly the only thing I liked about the Animal Planet Remote Control Snake was the fact that I was able to return it to the store and get a refund. I really would have rather bought a real remote control toy because this one wasn't worth purchasing.

If the Animal Planet Remote Control Snake had more features to it, I think that it would be a much better remote control toy. But since it's just a slithering piece of material that's controlled by a few buttons, I really think that it should be sold for "FREE."

My conclusion?

Unless you want to bore your child to death and or punish them for some reason, I wouldn't recommend you buy the Animal Planet Remote Control Snake. It's a waste of time and money
