AnimePlanet.com, is a great Web site, indeed. When it comes to reviews and recommendations of an anime series, Anime Planet should come first to any fan's mind. Interestingly enough, AnimePlanet is almost like a social Web site for anime fans. Users can visit the Web site and talk to other anime fans, judge anime and recommend certain anime films or television shows to others.
Features-
Seeing as AnimePlanet is almost like a social Web site for anime fans, users are able to create their own profiles where others can comment. The main feature of Anime Planet is for users from all around the world to do one thing, recommend their favorite anime to others. If users wish, they could simply keep track of anime they watch and what episodes they are currently watching.
However, if they truly wish to get involved, users are even able to create reviews and recommend anime based on comparison. When comparing two anime, users must explain what about them is similar, and why people should like/love the series. Anime Planet becomes useful when looking for an anime that you may like based on your personal tastes.
Virtually every anime under the sun is represented on this Web site and has fans to back it up. Alongside every animes description, one couldn't help to notice the detail the Webmaster of this Web site goes to. Each anime is detailed by the studio at which it was created, when it aired, and even the number of episodes the show had.
Improvement-
To be perfectly honest, Anime Planet is pretty much perfect. All content is user created besides the Web site itself and the listing of the anime, which is done by the Webmaster. Most of the reviews are decent, and all of the recommendations usually explain what you need to know. Anime fans are almost like American film fans, they want others to take interest in the films or television shows that they like themselves.
Overall, Anime Planet gets an eight out of ten, why you ask? Fact is, Anime Planet is perfect, when it comes to looking for anime recommendations. Users have been coming back for a few years, before anime's popularity even exploded in America with Cartoon Network's Adult Swim animation block. That goes to show you how dedicated Anime Planets users are.
Final Score-
8 Out of 10. (10 Being Perfect. 1 Being Worst)
