For fans, memories of the event can last a lifetime. People normally make new friends, sometimes dozens at a time. Some of these relationships can last lifetimes, as people with the same interests and from the same general area come to these events to hang out.
My goal for AnimeIowa 2008 has been simple: to try to get as many pictures as possible. I want to ensure that nearly every person who dresses up in their favorite cosplay (costume) will get to remember their great experience for as long as possible. This is why I've designed my website www.aiowa.com. I've made all sorts of new features to make that possible. I will post all the pictures I can get from AnimeIowa 2008, and share them with as many people as possible. This way, they can all comment on pictures, and hopefully find friends who's name/number were lost in the excitement of the convention.
