I've read some large excerpts of it,(refuse to buy it and donate money to her campaign to make dark circles and jowls fashionable), and she's pretty much still toting that "Take over countries, kill governments, make them good lil christians" thing. How disconcerting, Annie.
How sane can this movement be when she is one of their lauded examples??? She freely admits to going out and having sex with guys since she's not married. Where does she find these guys? And by guys does she mean Bill O'Reilly and Fox Security?
Most joking aside, this is not a dangerous conservative, a dangerous republican, or a dangerous woman we're dealing with. She's a dangerous human being.
She started out as an unpaid prostitute for the legal team representing Paula Jones in her sexual harassment case against Bill Clinton, who, I'm sorry, I don't care who he gets into bed with, I hope its great, because he's far and away one of the best presidents in the history of this country-even considering he was a crook, and blew up schools too.
In a better world, we should thank Annie for being the way she is, because in a better world it would shed tremendous light for anyone who ever thought of being in support of the conservative movement of today, make them so disgusted they'd be as far away from it as humanly possible. We do not live in that better world, and the hate she spews is lauded and praised by millions. Anyone who would welcome and embrace the views she has, I find to be against everything decent (to use the values argument the Religious Right is so famous for).
Democrats, Independants, whomever, need to find a viable platform that people can embrace, that does not involve USING THE BIBLE AS A MEANS TO MAKE STUPID PEOPLE LISTEN.
As most of us now know, much of Ann Coulter's work revolves around highly misinformed, highly radical generalizations of people who don't agree with the conservative, religious right agenda. The latest example of this, is Godless, The Church of Liberalism.
Reportedly, some of her chapter titles include "On the Seventh Day God Rested and Liberals Schemed" and "The Holiest Sacrament: Abortion." Classy, huh?
If you believe in God, which I certainly do, (though I choose to follow paths from alot of different faiths) then which is a bigger sin? Aborting a fetus, or forcing a child to live in circumstances they did not choose, such as abuse, neglect, etc... The point is, who's to say what a sin is? We are in a world that now takes it upon themselves to interpret the Bible and God's intentions. And one group that is infamous for this practice, and infamous for condemning those who don't accept those interpretations as fact, is the conservative movement of today. And by the way, the conservative movement that would make Abraham Lincoln shudder.
I think it would serve Ann well to use the money she has and is about to make, off of her Howard Sternlike approach to conservative advocacy, to practice what she so disgustingly preaches. I mean, my goodness, which is a bigger sin, abortion, or condoning murder? Are they not the same things in Republicans' eyes? The bottom line is, if you condone this administration and what it stands for, you condone murder. You've facilitated the abortion of fully formed lives.
She could do a very nice job of backing up her claims and opinions by sitting down, on national television, and going through the Bible, page by page, verse by verse,(and I even think she should be able to choose which bible, as long as it's the old and new testament), and point out verses and phrases that make it allowable to perpetuate the kind of hate and lies she claims God wants for us. I would sit through that, and I suspect you would, too. Were she to be forced to show the system she uses in her sharp little mind to come up with these ideas, she would be alot poorer, and alot less lauded.

Hmmm, one comment. You stated in your article that Ann Coulter is 'a dangerous human being' -- I think you giver her way too much credit -- calling her a human being, that is.
". . . who's to say what a sin is?" O.K. Let's start with the bad things . . .
and for the pageviews!
Thank you for your comments, Andrea and Brad.
Say, Beth... do you ever "abort" people you don't agree with? If so, I love it! Tell me how?
Oh,,,Ann are you so bored with your book tour that you have to come on here and attack Beth?
I just cracked up the first time I heard Kieth Olbermann (Countdown, on MSNBC) refer to Ann with his new moniker for her..he calls her "Coultergeist"
I managed to read her entire work "Treason" for my thesis of Contemporary American Comedy as Social-Political Commentary (yeah, that's a mouthfull). It was filled with laughable inaccuracies and even funnier grammatical errors. I despise her writing as much as Michael Moore.
