Anna Nicole Smith--A Conspiracy Tragically Unfolding

The following scenario is strictly my opinion based on facts presented and speculation as to how all these facts fit together to tell a story of greed, control, calculation, and desperation. The story itself is already playing out in the media as new information unfolds, but the final pieces of the puzzle will not reveal themselves until the toxicology reports, lab testing, and paternity tests are completed.

I am, of course, referring to the recent, tragic death of Anna Nicole Smith, aka Vicky Lynn Hogan Smith. Anna Nicole's death was the final scene in a train wreck in slow motion. Everyone saw it coming but her. However, there is cause for suspicion as to the nature and subsequent coincidences of her death and the death of her son five months ago. With a large estate in the mix and a baby that may prove to be a golden goose once the courts settle Ms. Smith's claim to her deceased husband's fortune, foul play can not be ruled out and the future and safety of an innocent baby girl hangs in the balance.

The facts and information are as follows:

1.Anna's son Daniel dies of a sudden lethal mix of prescription drugs days after she gives birth to her baby girl, Dannielynn. The lethal mixture included the prescription drug Methadone which is administered generally to heroin addicts who are undergoing drug treatment. Daniel was not undergoing treatment for heroin addiction. The only two people in the room at the time of Daniel's death are Anna Nicole, still in her hospital bed, and Howard K. Stern, her companion.

2.After Daniel is discovered unresponsive, witnesses on the scene claim to have seen Howard K. Stern (supposed father of DannieLynn) flushing what appeared to be drugs down the toilet. Eventually, his death is ruled an accidental overdose by lethal mixture of prescription drugs. The question of where he obtained these prescription drugs was never answered to the public.

3.Anna Nicole is distraught with grief and may also be suffering some post-partum depression in the coming weeks as a result of childbirth.

4.It was rumored that traces of Methadone (the same drug found in son, Daniel's, bloodstream) were also in Anna Nicole's system when she gave birth to her daughter. This rumor has not been confirmed.

5.Already showing signs of being drugged/sedated during interviews and appearances prior to her pregnancy, (and notably since she hooked up romantically with Stern), Anna Nicole appears even more "loopy" in public. Her speech is noticeably slurred, her eyes unfocused and she is not making much sense. The most evident feeling you get from her is a deep sadness. Stern is constantly at her side so she has no public conversations or interviews without him. Is he coaching her? Reminding her she must not say certain things? His behavior becomes that of a typical controlling male that is commonly identified with abusers.

6.Former friends and family of Anna Nicole state that Stern has isolated her from them and that she cannot even contact anyone without his permission and presence during that contact, if allowed. This would be another sign of his intent to control her and another common sign of an abuser.

7.Three weeks after her son's death, Anna Nicole, appearing as loopy and drugged as ever, has a "commitment ceremony" similar to a wedding without the licensure, with Howard K. Stern, in the Bahamas, inciting much censure from her fan base and the world in general who considered this action to be inappropriate and ill-advised after the death of her son three weeks prior.

8.Paternity of her new-born daughter is in question by previous boyfriend, Larry Birkhead, who claims he was told early on that the baby was his while he was still dating Smith. However, Stern has signed the birth certificate claiming he is the father of this child.

9.A legal battle ensues over the paternity of the baby while Smith and Stern remain in the Bahamas, out of legal reach of the United States Courts.

10.A little over four months later, Anna Nicole dies in a hotel room in Florida. She was found by her nurse and CPR was administered by the nurse's husband and Smith's body guard who is apparently a certified paramedic.

Now here comes the speculation. Where did Daniel Smith obtain these drugs? Where would he receive Methadone and why, with all the drug interaction information provided on all prescription drugs would he mix Methadone with anti-depressants (two different types were in his system)?

Did anyone follow up on the allegation that Stern was noticed flushing what appeared to be drugs down the commode before police arrived on the scene of Daniel's death? Reports showed at least twenty witnesses, presumably hospital staff, stating they all witnessed the alleged "flushing" of what appeared to be Methodone, down the toilet.

If Stern were seeking complete control of Smith by way of keeping her drugged and claiming the new born baby girl as his own to use as a pawn and to ultimately have supervision of the much anticipated award by the court of her ex-husband's estate (Billionaire, J. Howard Marshall), then the only person who would get in the way and foul up the plan would be her son, Daniel. Daniel would inherit along with his sister and mother, if the money was awarded by the court, and Daniel would do everything in his power to protect his mother if he saw that someone was intending doing her harm. Did Stern kill Daniel to either get him out of the way or because Daniel was on to what he was up to?

Why had Anna suddenly decided Stern was the father after informing Birkhead, originally, that he was the father? Why did they not simply cooperate with the request for DNA testing from the California court? Did someone have something to hide? Was Stern orchestrating all of Anna Nicole's decisions at this point?

Why is it that, according to the Associated Press, in an article, Howard K. Stern has been a practicing lawyer since 1994 but a search of the legal databases did not show any cases for which he had been the lawyer of record? How has Howard been supporting himself if not by living off of Smith?

What is the business "Hot Smoochie Lips Inc.", listed to belong to Stern, that the AP also discovered, whose business nature is unknown? Was Stern involved in illegal business practices or did he dip his fingers into the pornography industry?

Was he in debt?

Why would Anna Nicole need a private nurse? Wouldn't this nurse be held liable also for being aware of the fact that Smith was heavily drugged and that mixing certain prescriptions together can be lethal? All nurses are trained in pharmacology. More often than not, they are aware of a bad mix of prescriptions and many times, inform the doctors prescribing that a patient's life or health may be in danger. Why did this nurse not put a stop to Smith's drug abuse? Was she paid to look the other way or were labels changed on bottles so no one would know? If the latter is true, who switched those labels?

If Stern was the loving companion he claims to be, why, when faced with her obvious drug abuse, did he not get Anna Nicole into rehab where her drug abuse and her depression could be addressed by professionals?

The answer to all these questions will reveal themselves in the weeks to come as investigators re-visit the investigation into Daniel Smith's death as well as look into who stands to inherit if the courts award a settlement from J. Howard Marshall's estate to the surviving child of Anna Nicole Smith. The question of paternity is going to be the key to it all. Greed is the driving force behind this mystery into the untimely death of a centerfold.

My prediction for the coming weeks is that her "marriage" to Stern will be found to be not legal. Birkhead will be proven to be the biological father of DannieLynn. Further investigation into both deaths will show a lethal mixture of the same drugs with Smith's being administered by injection over a period of time which caused arrhythmia and ultimately, heart failure. This would be the same scenario as son, Daniel. Coincidence?

Stern will try to grandstand at the beginning of his downfall by producing documents that he will claim were signed by Anna Nicole (his client and his companion which is an ethical conflict of interest) showing him to be her beneficiary. These documents will have been procured while Ms. Smith was not in her right frame of mind, i.e., under considerable sedation and unable to think clearly. More conflict will ensue since, by law, a person cannot be the executor, administrator, and a beneficiary of the same will.

The person to suffer throughout this horror will be the baby. She has lost her mother, her brother and does not know who her father is. She may be worth millions or she may be a penniless child.

Stern will become increasingly desperate in the coming weeks and may disappear altogether with the baby to avoid losing the only card left to play in his hand. I fear for her life at this point and believe that until correct paternity can be determined, the child should be held in either foster care by the courts or placed with the maternal grandmother. The child has dual citizenship at this time and both the U.S. courts and the Bahamian courts need to cooperate in the best interest of this baby by taking custody of her away from Stern until paternity is settled once and for all.

In a few years, there will be a made for T.V. movie about the life and death of Anna Nicole Smith. Any guesses as to who the villain will be?
