Anna Nicole Smith Dead on Arrival at Age 39

Anna Nichol Smith passed out in the Hard Rock Cafe Hotel in Hollywood Fl. Her body guard administered CPR to her at approximately 1:45 pm. Efforts to revise the 39 year old fail and she was pronounced dead on arrival at Memorial Hospital, at 1:49 pm EST. At the time she passed out there was a nurse with Smith. The nurse called the hotel operator at 1:38 p.m. The police have said the room is not yet a crime scene.

Details of her death are still sketchy, but police are taking evidence from her hotel room. Smith has been a guest of the hotel since this past Monday, to relax according to the Hollywood Police. She was there with Howard K. Sterns, and they were planning to check out on Friday.

Baby Dannei Lynn was not in Smith's room at the time. Smith had complained of a fever last night. When Smith and Sterns were out shopping for a boat.

Smith's death follows her son's Daniel death who died in September of 2006, while visiting his mother in a Bahamian hospital. Several drugs were found in Daniel's body's. An inquest into Daniel's date is slated for March 2007.

In an October interview with the Insider, Anna Nicole Smith's, Mother Virgie Arthur she reported that she couldn't make sense of what she was saying on the phone. She says, "She was so drugged up, I imagine... She was so medicated, I think, I could not understand a word, other than, 'Danny's dead.' "She was crying, and trying to talk and mumbling - you couldn't understand hardly anything she said. And as soon as she said that, the phone went click, so I don't know if she hung it up, or if somebody else hung it up for her."

Arthur has been devastated by the tragedy because she claims she raised Daniel until he was six, while Anna Nicole searched for work. She's still puzzled as to why she was cut out of her daughter and grandson's life, but she has her thoughts about what has soured the relationship. She is urging her daughter to call her again. Smith's mother fears her daughter Nicole is in trouble because she hasn't buried her son and has had a wedding ceremony.

Later in a Nancy Grace interview, Arthur pleaded with her daughter to get away from the people she was hanging around, and chilling said that Nicole could be the next one to die.

Her ex-boyfriend Larry Birkhead who claims he is the father of Smith's daughter Dannie Lynn Hope. Birkhead also claims Anna Nicole Smith had a methadone problem.
