Anna Nicole Smith Will Not Be Buried Next to Marilyn Monroe
According to reports, Hugh Hefner was contacted by Anna Nicole Smith's sister, Donna Hogan, shortly after the unfortunate and surprising death of the starlet. Donna was requesting that Hugh Hefner show his love for Anna Nicole Smith by giving up his burial plot at Westwood Memorial Park in Los Angeles, California so that the family could bury Anna there.
Donna Hogan gave a teary explanation to Hugh Hefner on why she wanted him to give up his plot. She told Hugh that Anna Nicole Smith was such a devoted fan to Marilyn and idolized her so much, that it would only be right for her to lay next to her in death. Donna then started talking about how much Hugh claimed that he liked Anna and if he really did, he would give up the plot so that Anna could rest in peace next to her idol.
The conversation shocked Hugh Hefner. According to Hugh Hefner, the conversation was something "out of the blue".
Hugh Hefner declined to give up his plot but said it was nothing against Anna Nicole Smith. He stated that he always liked her and there was a bond between them. He also gave props to the former model during an interview stating that: "She was magic in front of the camera... She was a most unusual model, big in every sense of the word."
When asked about his thoughts on the death of Anna Nicole Smith, Hugh Hefner stated that it was a tragedy waiting to happen. He seen the downward spiral Anna's life took and witnessed her drug use. But according to Hugh Hefner, what sent her over the edge was the death of her beloved son, Daniel.
In honor of Anna Nicole Smith, Playboy Magazine is paying tribute to the former playmate by showcasing classic nude photographs of Anna as well as thoughts from those that worked with Anna on set. The issue promises to be tasteful in honoring Anna Nicole Smith as she was dearly loved by all of the Playboy staff.

Intriguing article. With relatives like this, is it any wonder that Anna Nicole led such a screwed up life? I shudder to think about what would happen to her baby, should Vergie Arthur get custody.
