Anna Nicole Smith's Daughter is in Danger of Developing Attachment Disorder
The Paternity Surrounding Dannielynn Hope Needs to Be Resolved as Soon as Possible
Dannielynn is just five months old and has already lost her mother, Anna Nicole Smith. Dannielynn isn't old enough to have formed a permanent attachment and with that life-long separation from her mother, and the chaos surrounding her, she is unlikely to bond as her permanent living situation remains ambiguous and unresolved.
All of this uncertainty and change will have lifelong effects on little Dannielynn because she is at a vulnerable age and time is imperative for her emotional well-being and security, which is why Howard K. Stern should step up to the plate and consent to a DNA test. The longer he refuses - the more suspect his motives appear. If he truly loves Dannielynn, he needs to act in her best interest and be agreeable to a resolution so that Dannielynn can have some peace. The sooner paternity is determined, the better off she'll be.

Post a CommentA mother cannot decide to skip the biological father in custody; just ask a single mom! Unless the biological parent is deemed unfit, he/she cannot be skipped. Whoever the father is, he hasn't given up rights. It would be a total mess if none of the men were the father--then what?
Personally, I think the judge should have ordered temporary custody of the child to the nearest KNOWN biological relative in two weeks. If Larry B protested and fought, then dear old granny would have temporary custody until a father was proven. Talk about a King Solomon decision...
As it is, the longer the baby is with Larry, the harder it will be to adjust should he not be the father. It reminds me of a couple of babies who were switched at birth or adoptions gone wrong...fight for two years and it was total heartbreak for a toddler.
I see you fell victim to the dreadful Hater Downrater. Sorry!. This is good work and don't let anyone tell you otherwise!
I couldn't agree with you more Donna... on another note, with so many positive comments here I wonder why you have been down rated so badly for such a caring and genuine piece. Thank you for sharing.
I feel really sorry for that little baby. I hope all this mess gets sorted out soon, for the childs sake.
they hope the father is because everyone has skeletons in their closets and who knows what any of them are capable or uncapable of? What a mess.
It is very unforunate that there is a little baby involved in this mess and with the court systems the way they work, it will be a long time before permanent custody is awarded to anyone. I don't have a preference yet as to who would be the better guardian but I do know that Anna didn't want her family near her daughter or Larry Birkhead for that matter. Now on to Howard K. Stern, I don't know what to think of him right now, he seems to have been there for her and the only person she could lean on but would he make a good parent? Obviously the biological father will need to have some visitation rights unless he is unfit but I don't think the courts should automatically give the biological father custody if that person is not what's in the best interest of the child. And then what happens if she did use sperm from her late husband? Then his family gets involved and wants custody? I don't think anyone who doesn't personally know any of the men should make a 100% judgement on who th
If Larry Birkhead is the father then he should not be deprived of his parenting rights. What troubles me most about Howard K. Stern is that he was with both Daniel and Anna when they died. He may not have force fed them drugs, but he was an enabler and for that he's guilty. Larry Birkhead begged Anna Nicole to quit doing drugs when she was pregnant. He wasn't an enabler and because of that, he's an okay guy in my book and I pray if he's found to be the father that he is reunited with Dannielynn.
Question: Is it what Anna would have wanted? She was fighting the paternity test tooth and nail. As much as I have reservations about Howard K Stern my opinion of that other guy is even worst. Gold-digger! Does he really want the baby for the right reasons or is it all about the money? Even if Anna Nicole Smith never left this world he is hopeful that if proven to be the true paternal father he would get "something" since he would presumably be given visitation rights at the very least. Then once he establish paternity he could go for the juglar & fight Anna for full custody claiming her unfit based on her chaotic life. Of the 3 who passes the sniff test...Howard? Brian? Anna's mother? To Howard's credit, he's been at Anna's side for years...thru thick and thin. His company was welcomed and she trusted him. On that note, I would have to disagree...Howard should fight it tooth and nail because it is what Anna was doing before her passing and it is what she would want now.
