Call it what you want, but the recent media attention since Anna Nicole Smith's death appears to be an attempt to destroy the reputation of the deceased star. To add to the destruction of her reputation, a series of entries from personal diaries from Anna Nicole Smith has been released to the media. The entries include talk about eating disorders, cheating, and a growing anger towards her late husband, J. Howard Marshall.

The diaries, which was made available to the Associated Press, include a purple and green Hallmark book that Anna Nicole Smith. Inside the cover of the diary, Anna Nicole Smith wrote "This diary belongs to Vickie Smith. Do Not Read!"

But what shocks everyone is the entries made.

The entries was wrote during Anna Nicole Smith's marriage to J. Howard Marshall and during the start of her career with Guess Jeans.

In one entry, Anna talks about how Paul Marsiano, who is the CEO of Guess Inc., called her to see if she had received his books and how that he requested that Anna Nicole Smith go to San Antonio, Texas for a photoshoot.

During a depressed moment in Anna Nicole Smith's life, she wrote in her diary about being very stressed and constantly eating to help get her out of her depression.

In the same entry, Anna states that J. Howard Marshall bought her several pieces of jewelry and although she loves the gifts, he is getting on her nerves by calling 15 to 20 times a day.

Also, Anna Nicole Smith wrote about her sexual relations with Paul Marsiano and stated that "I don't no what to do about Paul hes strange guy. I hate for men to want sex all the time."

Anna Nicole Smith's battle with prescription drugs appear to have been something that she has been dealing with for along time. According to a entry in her diary, Anna Nicole Smith wrote about being hung over. She said that she did not want to go out so she stayed at home and took some Zandrex.

If these diaries would have been released before her death, then maybe some type of intervention could have taken place for Anna Nicole Smith.

It is so sad that she got no privacy, even in death.

Like Deborah - I wondered how the diaries even got out. It seems like all of her friends and family members will stop at nothing to make a quick buck off of her.

Why in the world would Anna Nicole release her own diaries before she died? It's not an attempt to "destroy her reputation." She didn't have much of one to begin with. It's just another reflection of sick voyeurism into other people's lives. By the way, it's Paul Marciano. Marsiano was Anna Nicole's misspelling.
