No one believes the United States is an honest broker of peace anywhere, particularly the Middle East where untold death and suffering is still being raged at the hands of the American military.
Israeli Prime Minister, Ehud Olmert is a well established war criminal himself who has the blood of 1200 innocent Lebanese on his filthy hands and misrepresenting the Palestinian people is the dancing baby doll, Mahmoud Abbas, who's been hand chosen to do what he's told by Israel and the United States. Abbas is not a representative of the Palestinian people, he represents only what is best for Israel in its insatiable expansionist quest for more land and resources and power.
Abbas will go the way of other Arab dictators that America and Israel have hand picked, installed and then supported in their despotic, corrupt and oppressive dictatorships; Iran and Iraq are perfect case studies in the failures of this form of foreign policy.
Democracy in the Middle East would be a disaster for Israel and the United States because then they would have to answer to the will of the Arab people as opposed to the whims of which ever brutal animal dictator they've propped up. Without these dictators to laughingly label 'Hitler' every time Israel wants an Arab nation destroyed, how would the American government justify its invasions and attacks to the public?
The United States and Israel can not seem to dominate the Arab people for long and when they fight back the results are disastrous for everyone, like Sept 11th , a direct result of American foreign policy in the Mid East and the Islamic Revolution in Iran which was a direct response to the Israel loving and brutal dictator the Shah who spent decades terrorized the Iranian people.
Peace for the people of the Middle East is possible but, only when a major shift in American voting patterns and civic involvement is implemented:
1. The American people must write their representatives and voice their demands for a more balanced foreign policy in the Middle East, one that is not simply skewed to benefit Israel at all costs.
2. The American Zionists need to be declared a religious terrorist movement and their financial assets and sources frozen and their leaders prosecuted for treason.
3. All pro-Israeli political groups like AIPAC, ADL, JDL and the American Enterprise Institute etc must be declared foreign agents and removed from the American democratic and journalistic institutions.
4. Israel must be contained both militarily and economically; complete disarmament of the Jewish state and war reparations inflicted and enforced for its repeated assault on the Lebanese people and nation and for the sixty year ethnic cleansing campaign of the Palestinian people. All monies, tax payer and otherwise, must be frozen from leaving citizens of the United States and flowing to Israel. Without American billions and weapons, Israel will have an incentive to make peace with its neighbours and the indigenous Palestinian population. The final containment strategy is global economic sanctions against Israel to prevent further illegal invasions and theft of other people's lands and dismantle the apartheid political and social and judicial system currently in place.
5. Democracy does not just bring freedom, it also brings civic responsibility and it is incumbent upon the American people to stop claiming ignorance of their governments actions internationally and start taking ownership of their democracy and nations future by holding politicians accountable for their behaviour.
Peace is possible but, politicians never bring peace they bring chaos and confusion and disparity of economic prosperity.
Peace will only come from we the people.
