Trekking location in and around Mount Annapurna
A number of trekking routes built up Annapurna Adventure Circuit. Trekkers, in order to begin their journey need to reach Besisahar from Kathmandu in Nepal(150 kms). The first part includes treks like:
Besisahar to Bahundanda(400m)
Bahundanda to Chamje to Bagarchap( 870m)
Bagarchap to Cheme to Pisang(1330m)
The routes can be explored with regular halt at Hindu Brahmin village in Bahundanda, Nyingma Pa Buddhist Area in Northern Nepal, Guring Village of Bagarchap and villages with architectural brilliance in Upper Pisang. The paths are best for new-bie adventure seekers and nature lovers.
The latter half of the adventure tour demands extra effort by the enthusiasts. After having refreshment hours in Manang (after Pisang), the journey resumes. The trekking routes here are:
Manang to Yak Kharka to Thorung Phedi to Muktinath(1694m)
Muktinath yo Kagbeni to Marpha to Kalopani. The route has both ascent and descents
Kalopani to Tatopani( descent- 1,409m)
Tatopani to Ghorepani(1,674m)
Ghorepani to Ghandruk( Ascent- 500m, Descent-1400m).
While undergoing the tough trekking itinerary, one can have a mesmerizing view of meadows in Yak Kharka, visit the sacred area of Muktinath, ancient Kagbeni town, situated on the Kalo Gandaki river, have delicious Nepali cuisines in the resort town of Tatopani and above all, can enjoy the many live pictures of wild animals in Annapurna Sanctuary
