Anne Hathaway Can't Shake Incarcerated Ex as He Continues to Send Her Letters in the Mail

Looking cute in a navy blue top, the "Alice In Wonderland" actress caught a ride from a friend over to Joan's On Third to pick-up a midday meal.

The sighting comes amidst reports that Miss Hathaway is currently dealing with endless letters from her incarcerated ex-beau, Italian real estate developer Raffaello Follieri.

While Anne broke up with Raffaello following his arrest for trying to con millions of dollars from the Vatican, insiders tell that Mr Follieri continues to beg Miss Hathaway to revive their romance upon his release - even though Anne has already moved on with a relationship with actor Adam Shulman who is not happy about Raffaello trying to weasel back in.

"Anne is incredibly happy with Adam, but Raffaello isn't giving up," a source told. "He's written Anne several letters from prison begging her to wait for him. She's way over him and has never written back, but Adam is furious. Adam demanded Anne write Raffaello and tell him it's over for good. But Anne doesn't want to give Raffaello any attention at all."

And it sounds like Raffaello has no chance. "There's no way she'd ever take him back, and she's hoping he'll forget about her. Raffaello's letters are causing a rift in their relationship. But Anne refuses to give in to Adam's demand to write Raffaello. She adores Adam, and as far as she's concerned, the Raffaello chapter of her life is closed."

With Adam urging Anne to write a response asking Raffaello to stop the correspondence, a source tells, "Anne fears anything she says to him will lead to a fresh avalanche of mail. The letters are not only torturing Anne, they are putting pressure on her new relationship,"

Of the situation, an FBI spokesman said: "It's deeply unfortunate if the letters cause distress but unless they contain clear criminal intent our hands are tied."
