Annie's Mango & Cilantro Marinade - Product Review

Candus
I was at the grocery store looking for some type of flavoring to put on my meats to give them just a different taste and a kick of interest. Many of us are always looking for different ways to prepare our meats to add zest to our meals. I selected a product by Annie's which is a organic marinade.

I purchased this product at The Grocery Outlet in The Dalles, Oregon, area. This marinade cost me $1.99 and it comes in a 10 ounce bottle. I wanted to try something different on my chicken and pork to see if I could give it a splash of Mexican flavor.

This marinade has a very sweet taste because of the mango's inside of it. Then you can also taste the fresh cilantro with every bite. Now toss in a small hint of lime and you will see why I have fell in love with this product.

It gives you a sense that your on an island with the mango taste and lime. I admit I was anxious to try this marinade on my next meal so we decided to place it on our chicken for dinner. We poured it over our chicken and then covered in the fridge for about an hour.

Once I was ready to prepare my dinner I took the chicken that is now soaked up all the juices from the marinade and placed it in a frying pan. I cooked this chicken until it was completely done adding a few pieces of fresh cilantro on top of the chicken.

I prepared my fried rice and then laid my cooked chicken on top of the rice. I served this dish along with nacho chips and salsa with fresh cilantro. My family loves this new zing on their meals because it's not boring and it has a great taste.

A serving size of this marinade is 1 Tbsp, and that will give you 20 calories. The total fat is 0.5 grams and you'll find 120 milligrams of sodium inside as well.there is only 3 grams of carbohydrates inside this marinade and absolutely no protein.

You will want to make sure you shake the bottle really good before using and keep it in the fridge after opening. Some of the ingredients inside this product is water and mango puree and lime juice and cilantro as well as some distilled vinegar.
