It wouldn't be so bad if if was from the party I belong to, but no it has to be all from the opposite side. Our phone has gotten slammed down more than just a few times lately. They call at all hours of the day. Early morning, afternoon (usually 2 calls in the afternoon and one in the evening. I have received 3 calls already today and it is only mid afternoon.
You know with so many people out of work and the economy in a major disaster, you would think that either political party would hang on to some of that money and use it for the people instead of annoying them.
As far as I am concerned many of us have signed up for no calls from telemarketers. This to me is the same thing, they are all electronic calls. We don't even get the opportunity to talk with someone. Truly annoying.
I have finally unplugged my phone by my computer. It has become just way to annoying. To tell you the truth, if I had been interesting in the party that keeps calling, I definitely would have changed my mind by now.
My husband keeps saying are they that scared that they are going to lose that they keep pestering us on the phone. I agree. Gee I am sure glad someone has extra money to blow on these annoying calls.

I didn't get one election phone call, thank heavens! I'm sure sorry you were so harrassed, Mary. At least the calls are over for now.
I havent gotten many on LI... but I also dont pick up for unknown numbers, so that could be why. I do get a very very annoying one that calls to tell me my warranty on my auto has expired. Its anoying, a 903 number.
about 7 calls a day....cell phone and home phone. My answering machine fills up, and I've had important messages get cut off. I'm sure either candidate won't bother having volunteers spread any news after the election. Rawwwr.
I agree!
I'm totally with you on this one. It never seems to fail that as soon as I get my son asleep for his nap, the phone rings and then rings again. And then they will stop for a few hours and then start back up while I'm trying to make dinner and eat!
LOL at Charlotte's comment.
And I am being bombarded with election email from both sides. :-) At least they are being fair...lol. Hang in there, Mary. It is almost over.
I agree!!
and I can't vote.
