Annual Veterans Day Ceremony at UNC at Chapel HIll
Local ROTC Units Join to Honor America's Greatest Heroes

At 11 a.m., more than 100 ROTC midshipmen and cadets assemble in dress uniforms on Veterans Day. This annual event is sponsored by Naval ROTC, the College of Arts and Sciences and its curriculum in peace, war, and defense. Captain Charles Gibson, a Carolina alumnus and commanding officer, Naval Air Station, Meridian, MS, is guest speaker. At this time, all veterans will be asked to stand and be recognized.
Members of UNC campus and local communities are invited to attend. A reception for attendees is held immediately after the ceremony. Limited parking is available in Chapel Hill pay lots off Rosemary Street. For more information, please call the UNC military science department at (919) 962-3671.
