Big D New Year's Eve

Big D New Year's Eve has taken place each year in Dallas since 2007. In 2010, this New Year's event will be held at the American Airlines Center in Victory Park, located at 2500 Victory Ave. in Dallas. Similar to the Times Square New Year's Eve celebration in New York City, Big D New Year's Eve features a fireworks display, live music, large high definition TV screens, food and drink concessions and celebrity guests. Admission to the Big D New Year's Eve event is free and all ages are welcome.

New Year's Eve at the Gaylord Texan

If you're over 21, the Gaylord Texan Hotel in Grapevine, Texas is a luxurious place to celebrate New Year's Eve. Each year, the Glass Cactus nightclub at the Gaylord Texan hosts a New Year's Eve Bash featuring live music, appetizers from 8:00 to 10:00 pm, dancing, a midnight champagne toast and free self parking. There is also a New Year's Eve Ballroom Gala held each year in the Texas Ballroom at the Gaylord Texan. Admission to the Glass Cactus event is $79 per person. Admission to the Ballroom Gala event is $149 per person, which includes a full buffet dinner, a midnight champagne toast, two drink tickets, party favors and self parking. There are also one and two night overnight stay packages available to attend these Gaylord Texan New Year's events.

New Year's Eve at Hotel St. Germain

The Hotel St. Germain is another great New Year's Eve venue if you're over 21. Each New Year's Eve, the Hotel St. Germain transforms into Club St. Germain. The atmosphere evokes a feeling of a Hollywood nightclub of the 1930s. This New Year's Eve event includes a full multi-course dinner, live music, dancing and champagne. Prices are $95 per person for the dinner-only first seating from 6:00 to 6:30 pm, and $160 per person for the second seating from 8:00 to 10:30 pm.

Roaring Twenties New Year's Eve Murder Mystery Theater at Dave and Buster's

Dave and Buster's, located at 8021 Walnut Hill Lane in Dallas, hosts a special annual Roaring Twenties New Year's Eve Murder Mystery performance every year. The show begins at 9:00 pm and includes a live mystery comedy show, a four course dinner, party favors, champagne and a $14 power card. The price for the New Year's Eve event is $160 per couple.
