Anonymity

Donna Cavanagh
We all possess that spark of mystery
We remain an enigma to a degree
What goes on in our minds is not always certain
We tend to be more than just what people see

Do I ever hold back feelings?
In person, I am a master of disguise
But on the computer, there is that buffer
I can let down my guard; sometimes anything flies

The internet world does not see your eyes
Which as we know are the windows to the soul
We can be a freer with emotions that in person we hide
We give up the need for absolute control

There is no substitute for the human touch
We need it to live; it opens our heart
But sometimes the gift of anonymity
Is that it gives us the strength to fall apart

You've got a great knack of putting words down and feelings too. I hold back the feelings of hurt until I have a good cry, then I am o.k. Not too many hurts anymore.
    God saw to that.

Amen to this Donna. Artificial intelligence is nothing like human intelligence and nothing compares to the human touch. Nicely done.
