Anonymity (A Haiku)

Giovanni Badalamenti
As the cold, misting rain fell on the umbrella during my walk early this morning on Grandview Avenue, I waited of the Carneige Library to open.

From my vantage point high above the city, the tiny vehicles moved along the bridges and roadways in total and complete silence. Everyone motoring along in perfect anonymity.

Looking upstream along the Monogahela (Mon) River from Mt. Washington in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the view of the grey-tinted cityscape inspired me.

City lights are bright
vehicles move in silence
anonymity

Giovanni Badalamenti resides in the Mt. Washington section of Pittsburgh, high above the Mon River.
