San Francisco is infamous for the artists who make music, paintings and the written word well-known from here. It was here where Allen Ginsberg wrote poems, somedays by the dozen, on an endless existence and political reform. I give my strongest enthusiasim to one poet working on the street. He makes his presence stand out. Each day, as I walk past the crossing corners of Haight and Ashbury, I see him. He sits on a wooden chair, with an old typewritter propped on a folding table. A sign hangs from the table with these words: "I will write you a poem on any subject, tell me the word, fee $2." I always wonder what I don't know about his story. He is passionate for poetry and perserverant to obstacles. One day, at the close of much writiing, I snagged one photo of the poet as he sat on the bus. He is a mystery to me, and real winner for writing every day!
