Anorexic Model Dies at 28

On an enlarged poster, Isabelle Caro's scarily bony body was spread across, with the words "No Anorexia" displaying loudly. Her large sunken eyes and protruding ribs should be enough discouragement for young women to starve themselves to become skinny.

That poster was made in 2007. Yet 3 years later, the girl with an obvious battle against anorexia has died. She was hospitalized for a respiratory disease and passed away a few days after.

In high school, I too was a victim of this terrible eating disorder that stemmed from great fear of being fat - and truthfully, low self esteem. But I am very thankful to have not suffered enough to loose my life.

It is a shame that this young girl, who once walked the runways as a high-fashion model, has lost her life to this terrible disease!

If her poster wasn't good enough of an advertisement against anorexia, perhaps her story will be.
