Short Poem
RB I call her sometimes; Roberta Baxter is a mighty lady
She has done it all, with help and alone, calm, adroit
and pleasant to all; but be warned: not a "pushover" this gentle lady!
Like Roberta, Tony Vega is a patriot, light
emanates form his pen ...filled with heartistic fluids
Again, pleasant and powerful, Tony's right
about the news, liberals, democrats, aliens ... Druids ...
And these two are joined in encouraging me, reading
my dull poetry and making them bigger, better, brighter
than I feel some days; thanks to Memmay151 from Boston ... migrating
South ...yet loyal to family, friends, country, siblings, neighbor
Does Smither rhyme with neighbor or foreigner?
Laugh Out Loud; he's a traveling, marvelling man --a soldier for love
A writer has hidden in his wondrous heart year after year ...
This generous Briton, with American wife away, looks up and above!
