Brooklyn, NY 11215
United States of America
Sure, the bar located at the corner of Flushing and Washington was known to be one of the scarier drinking establishments in the borough, but people who went there absolutely loved it. The place was a typical dive bar with the essence of a strip club mixed in, though the most you saw was ladies in underwear.
The building that housed the bar, along with three other locations, was put up for sale last year. Now that the Navy Yard Cocktail Lounge is gone, the corner will lack a bar, something that hasn't happened to that corner in more than 103 years.
