Another Effective Home School Education

Private Education with a Home School Twist

E Cothern
How is a two-income family suppose to make it these days-balancing school schedules, homework, sports practice, meals and all that comes from mom and dad's work? Schools don't cater to anyone's schedule and truancy is a heavy offense. Calendars collide and families are stretched.

Now parents have the option of offering their child a private education without the restraints of a private school. Private educators used to be only for the young Hollywood stars that couldn't make it to the classroom. Aren't most of today's youth relatively as busy as celebrities? Now, families have the option of hiring a private educator to come to their home to provide home schooling. This is not a new idea, but rather one reborn from the time of governesses and individualized education.

It is amazing that this service is available for a cost comparable with private school education. Yet, teachers love the option of leaving the twenty-five students and twenty-five families under the constraints of an administration, to engage one family and the comforts of home. Teachers are equipped to make curriculum choices, challenge students to meet their full potential, and evaluate progress to promise success. When the right private educator is matched with the right family, the results seen in the children's academic success is unprecedented. Families can focus on what they value most; whether it be the Latin language, math and science that equip a student to be an engineer, or a traditional Christian curriculum. Exceptionally qualified teachers are available to be paired with families.

Imagine the day when getting your children out the door for school is transformed by the arrival of a private educator. He arrives promptly before you leave for work. Your children spend the day at home, receiving the kind of education that used to be reserved for royalty.

He develops the curriculum to meet each of your child's needs and learning styles. Unschool, Christian School , Classical School . . . whatever your family fancies, starts each day at whatever time you choose. School five days a week is completely optional; rather, your family meets the state time requirements within the structure of your week. Your children succeed without forty hours a week in a classroom that is infiltrated with snacks and breaks and wasted time.

Homework stress is eliminated because all work is completed during the designated school time. Projects, assignments, and reports are compiled in portfolio that truly reflects success. If a concept was not grasped, it will be taught for mastery.

Ball practice is now enjoyable because all school work is complete. Family meals actually happen because everyone is home. A family vacation is scheduled during Dad's off-peak work season, even if it's the middle of October, because the school calendar is up to Dad.

A private educator is no super hero, but she can be special ordered. Seek today to offer your family all the benefits of home schooling without all the stress. Contact an agency that matches private educators with families.

Another option is to find a homeschool family and have them do your daycare. I have done this for extra income for years. The kids come to my home and I teach them right along with my own. I wonder if there is a website that would help people find each other.
