Another Open Letter to the Miami Dolphins

Grimley Jones
After watching the Dolphins' game in London I do have to make a few corrections. My first open letter to the Dolphins was written in a fit of rage and disgust over the pitiful roster moves made by the Dolphins' front office over the past five seasons or so. Anyway, I'd like to apologize to Jesse Chatman. I referred to him as an "unfunny joke" and after watching him play yesterday, I retract that statement. Chatman has heart and will certainly be a quality replacement in the time that Ronnie Brown is gone. However, I still do not like Cleo Lemon. His interception against New England was the reason why Ronnie Brown tore his ACL. Additionally, he is too sporadic and inconsistent, which annoys me. Star John Beck and let him get some experience in this lost season. Please, do not make the same mistake you made with Rosenfels.

With that said, I don't care if Miami wins 1 game this season. In fact, I hope Miami wins only 1 game. That will ensure a great draft position and we certainly need to get some young talent. However, and this is a big however, in fact: HOWEVER, that one win must come against New England later in the season. It also must be the only loss on the Patriots' record. If you do anything positive this season, it will be the prevention of another undefeated team, preserving that honor for the Dolphins' franchise. The joy that will come from ruining the hopes of a perfect Patriots' season will be far greater than having a winning record this year. All right, you know what you need to do, so do it and take care.

it would be an accomplishment for the maimi dolphins to be within 4 touchdowns of the patriots.

They were closer than that last game, but thats only because the pats let them.

It certainly would be amusing if the Dolphins beat the Pats. Especially if that was their only win. :)
