With all the reading.
The passages
are not conflicting.
How can it be
After all this time
That these words
Stand the test of time?
"There are those who curse their fathers
and do not bless their mothers;
those who are pure in their own eyes
and yet are not cleansed of their filth;
those whose eyes are ever so haughty,
whose glances are so disdainful;
those whose teeth are swords
and whose jaws are set with knives
to devour the poor from the earth,
the needy from mankind."
Proverbs 30: 11-14
Is very true
Even for today.
Why do we so casually
Ignore these words that say...
We read but do not apply.
Yet with each passing day
Our lives slip away.
My reading must go on,
As I finish with this book
Of only 66 in all.
There is more to come.
I will read it all.

Okay, not nice to make think first thing in the morning but I'll be happily pondering this all day. That's a good thing.
