Another "Real Housewife" to Embark on a Singing Career

Because why not? Seems to be if you are on this show you are contractually obligated to write a book or sing a song, right? I'm beginning to think this is why birds are falling out of the sky...the autotuned warbling of reality stars. I believe Nostradamus predicted this when he saw the end of the world.

So who is following in the glitter wind of Kim Zolciak, Danielle Staub, Gretchen Rossi, and Countess LuAnn? (Kandi doesn't count because she's an actual musician by trade)

Newly minted Real Housewife of New Jersey and Teresa Giudice's sister in law, Melissa Gorga.

Now I have no idea if she can sing. Maybe she can. I hope she can, because I like her already. But tabloid demon Radar Online is reporting that she's going to be a fancy pants hip-hop/R&B singer and wants to collaborate with 50 Cent and Dr. Dre or something. I'm intrigued. I really want to hear a New Jersey housewife go gangsta and drop a rhyme. Only because it touches on so many levels of irony it gives me the giggles.

But I guess we'll just have to wait for the requisite "Watch What Happens" live debut of this latest project before we'll know for sure if this is a good or bad thing.
