Week two of "Dancing With The Stars" ended. It was a week of fast dances. The stars had to perform either a Jive or The Quick Step. Some stars were able to shine; other stars suffered pain and defeat. How did your favorite star do? Did your favorite star survive this week two elimination?
JR Martinez danced The Jive. Personally, this writer believed he did a great job. However, according to the rules he and his partner did one thing wrong: they did a lift too soon. This caused Carrie Ann, the judge who always notices those lifts, to have to deduct a point from their score. Len had a problem with most of their dance. He thought they danced more of a lindy hop than a Jive. However, Bruno loved the performance. He thought it was the performance of the night.
Ricki Lake did a great job, too. In fact, she was the leader of the night. The audience seem to love her dancing, too. She got a standing ovulation.
As for the low scorers of the night, David Arquette was told that he had great enthusiasm. But that he had lost control a few times during the last. Carson Kressley was told that improvement was seen in his dance, yet his scores were still low. Finally, Chaz Bono had to do a Quick Step while suffering severe leg, knee and ankle pain. He suffered through the pain, yet couldn't really perform it quick. He was told that he was likeable but the Quickstep had to be quick.
The dancers all seem to put out the best effort. Yet, at the end of the night, one had to go home and that dancer was: Elisbetta Canalis.
It was sad to see Elisbetta Canalis leave. Yet, this is how this show is played.
Now the viewers are left wondering who will top the leader board next week and who will be eliminated?
