Another Stellar David Archuleta Performance on American Idol

This week was "Inspiration" week. David Archuleta, the 17-year-old singing sensation, gave another stellar performance. Is he a forerunner for the actual grand prize?

Absolutely.

His pure, clean, clear voice makes people stop dead in their tracks to listen. He has impeccable pitch and never seems to falter with his vocal quality. He is literally spot on. But what makes him stand out even more is his connection to the music.

He is completely engaging. I believe every word he says when he sings. Age aside he's amazing. When you factor in the fact that he turned seventeen during his time on American Idol makes it that much more incredible.

How can a 17-year-old comprehend some of the songs he has been singing? And how can he possibly connect to it on such an emotional level that it affects others?

David Archuleta is a forcce to be reckoned with. HIs biggest competition is rocker David Cook. Mr. Cook has the confidence, intelligence and voice ability to be a superstar.

He is a true rocker.

And what's more, he's a rocker with a heart. I expect to see lots more of him and his originality. Mr. Cook has proved that he can arrange anything and make it spectacular. I think it will be a battle of the Davids in the end.
