I live without it during the day (using a ceiling fan instead), but turn the air-conditioning on at night so that I can sleep. Saving money too! While using the ceiling fan, that disc inside my electric meter takes 140 seconds per revolution. With air-conditioning, the disc revolves once every 6 seconds.
