Another Thursday morning
Another day of work

As the radio begins to play "Margueritaville"

It's rare to here Jimmy Buffet in the UK
And the song takes me back to Key West
Watching the sun set in Mallory Square
The beach at Bahia Honda Key
A glorious long weekend two years ago
But then the traffic comes to another halt
And jogs me back to reality
Another Thursday morning
Another day of work

I take vacations in my mind all the time. Nice piece!
Tony, be sure to read my Day 37 poem, I'm sure you will love it!!!!
It really is, you are right. Very often I listen to a song from years ago and it transports me back to those days. It's odd how we retain those links over so many years isn't it.
It was nice, but I soon came back to reality when the traffic began to move again. Oh well, that's what happy memories are for...
