Antec Notebook Cooler Review

Expand the Life of Your Laptop!

Sea Shepherd
Have you ever had your laptop computer shut down while you were in the middle of writing one of your award winning articles for AC? And you can't figure out what is going on? You ask yourself, "Is it my battery? Do I need to take it in...again!" Well, you might want to invest in the Antec Notebook Cooler. The cooling system in the Antec Notebook Cooler will extend not only the life of your battery but the laptop itself.

Laptop computers are poorly designed when it comes to airflow. If you are on the computer like I am at least 8 hours a day, it is easy for your laptop to overheat and shut off automatically. What it is doing is overheating. This will put wear and tear on your battery as well as the rest of the computer as it struggles to work harder. On top of that, you have a dangerous element to consider when your laptop overheats. It can catch on fire! And if you lay your laptop on your lap, you are risking a severe accident waiting to happen.

The way the Antec Notebook Cooler works is that you just lay your laptop on top of it while you are working. It is easily plugged into your computer's USB port. It is a valuable investment because the aluminum surface helps reduce the heat instability and keeps the heat away from your laptop- which corrects the poor airflow design that the laptop computer has.

Other features for the Antec Notebook Cooler includes:

It has a USB-powered cooler with pass-through connector.
It can draw power from any USB port without losing use of the USB port.
It works great with both MACS and PCs laptop computers.
It has Low Power Consumption.
There are no batteries or power adapter needed.
There are two double ball-bearing fans which help for reliability.
It has a whisper quiet fan.

I bought my Antec Notebook Cooler at Staples which is a business supply store. The retail cost was $49.95. However, there are always sales out there, and I did get a twenty per cent discount on such a sale.

I have gone through a few laptop computers in my day and I wish I had this product in the past. Recently, I bought a new laptop and this caught my eye. I am extremely glad I bought this product because you can feel the difference when you lay your laptop on the Antec Notebook Cooler and place it on your lap.
